Bio

Alyssa Harris is a dynamic and versatile performer with a deep rooted passion for music.

Growing from a strong interest in performance from a young age, Alyssa has been expressing herself through theatre,  singing, songwriting, acting and dance for most of her life.

Her years at California State University Los Angeles were spent  involved in countless theatre productions. It was here, through her adamant pursuit of knowledge and sense of community that she set forth to pursue a career in entertainment, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies in 2012.

Alyssa's career as a professional performer took off speedily after graduating as she began singing in cover bands, performing in regional theatre productions, and recording her own original music and performing it in the nightclub/bar scene in LA. She has been in production shows for corporate events and amusement parks, most recently as a principal vocalist in "Mickey and the Magical Map" at Disneyland Resort.

She streamlined her new desire for performance and wanderlust when she began working on cruise ships as a show band singer performing in a 10-piece orchestra at Carnival Cruise Line, and eventually as a production cast vocalist/dancer performing in the broadway-style shows aboard Carnival and Norwegian Cruise Line.

In 2016, Alyssa became one of the lead vocalists for the BB King's All Star Band at Sea with Holland America Line. Here, she developed and honed in on her passion for singing blues, soul, jazz, and rock & roll classics.

Alyssa Harris is now performing her own Motown/Stax/Soul Divas tribute shows as a fly-on/headliner act aboard cruise ships and is represented by TAD agency. She is based in Las Vegas.
