Alyssa Harris is a dynamic vocalist based in New York City. She is an engaging performer who has brought audiences from around the globe to their feet with her powerhouse vocals and charismatic stage presence.
Alyssa was born in Napa, California and raised in Sacramento by a loving, and supportive family. She grew up singing in choir as well as performing in dance troupes throughout high school. At age 18, Alyssa set out for the bright lights of Los Angeles where she completed her undergrad and cultivated her passions for singing, songwriting and performing.
A few of Alyssa's starring roles include: Tina Turner in the Las Vegas strips’ award-winning production Vegas! The Show, and featured vocalist on FOX’s hit reality TV show I Can See Your Voice where her performance was called “So beautiful!” by R&B/Soul music legend Dionne Warwick. She was featured on ESPN and lauded by sports fans for her stirring rendition of the star-spangled banner for Austin Football Club (MLS). She also portrayed Princess Tiana as a principal vocalist and character in Mickey & The Magical Map at Disneyland. Alyssa was spotlighted as an "Incredible voice" by Grammy winning-artist & Broadway star Deborah Cox for a singing challenge where her performance has amassed nearly 300,000 views. Other notable venues include: House of Blues Hollywood, Mandalay Bay, B.B. King’s Blues Club, Austin City Limits, SXSW, and many more.
Alyssa continues to headline countless stages all over the United States and the seven seas with her two incredible tribute shows, as well as delivering stellar performances for parties, weddings, private events and for her own concerts. Her last EP "Wild Dreamer" was released in 2020 and featured 6 incredible original songs, and it is available for streaming everywhere. Her live shows are full of energy and a variety of timeless hits that everyone knows and loves! She is passionate about connecting with audiences, spreading positivity, and sharing her deep love for music one stage at a time!
Alyssa is passionate about both performing and teaching. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Performance Studies, a Master of Arts in Musicology and began pursuing a PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2021 with hopes to teach at a collegiate level someday in the future. She also runs a vocal coaching business called Dynamic Voices Singing Studio, where she's able to share her passion for music and performing with other aspiring singers and help them on their journey of success in singing.
